Island Walker

Island Walker is a walking simulator on a large and beautiful island. Turn on your favorite relaxing music and enjoy!

Controls in the game:

- WASD - movement,

- Shift - sprint,

- F - switch windowed/full screen mode,

- MMB - switch mouse view,

- holding Q - speed up time rewind,

- X - toggle some stats, FPS.

You can also change the resolution in the ini file at %localappdata%/IslandWalk/ , in the settings.ini file.

I was trying to make a big open world on Game Maker, kind of like Skyrim - with chunks and beautiful nature. I kind of finished the main features, but I'm not quite happy with the code, but I'm happy with the result. There is nothing but open world in the game - you can just walk around and enjoy the local views.

Worlds are generated randomly, so the first run will be long.  Besides, the finished world weighs about 1.5-2 gigabytes, so keep that in mind!
